Pastoral Letter from Father Abbot.
Greetings and Blessings in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
We live in very critical times, in the United Kingdom and in the World generally. If ever there was a need to proclaim the Good News of the gospel, it is now.
In his day, St. Benedict faced the ignorance and hostility of the pagan world. We face conditions of a similar kind. Through commitment and devotion he changed the outlook of the Western World.
In this Benedictine Order, newly constituted, we face headlong into the fray of what evil can throw at us. With commitment and loyalty to the gospel and the sacraments we do not fear the challenge, but steadfastly remain firm in our faith and the vows we have taken.
May the order be blest under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Father Abbot has appointed Dom Stephen, OSB as Prior of St Benedict's USA & Novice Master to the Order. Please pray for him as he takes up his new roles. Dom Stephen, OSB is in formation for ordination to the Sacred Priesthood.
